A debate should be to present your ideas and let the people decide what they like.

Looking at the polls, I would say Kamala did. Just by being the sane one.

The policy is: no matter how expensive education becomes, you will pay for it yourself, no matter if your debt burdens you for the rest of your life.
If you think that policy is popular, think again.
No different than signing to borrow money to buy a home or car. Only difference is if you don't make your house or car payments you loose what you don't pay for.

OF COURSE it is not a popular view. People like you think education should be free. It is to those that are smart enough for it to be a wise investment, grants and scholarships is how that is done.
No matter which side you're on, a candidate for president should have an opinion on student debt and be able to explain his policy on it. Then the voters can make the decision if they agree with you or the Democrats.

People who turn out rich, from a good education, can then pay back their education, through TAXES! Poor people should pay less. Then they don't pay for the education of people who turn out rich. It's a very simple, practical principle. How can you not understand it?
Higher education is not for everyone. Some people are better suited for practical education. Who ever their parents are, they should get the education that fits them best and maximizes their potential. Society figures out how to best invest in people, through testing their mental capacity and skills. That's what schools DO.

After those two, he was allowed more than 12 extra minutes to talk. Now, if it was fact checking worthy, why didn’t he bring up these points during his time?
