In my country, it's obligatory to report a death partner or family member, within 6 working days in the municipality where the person died. The death is recorded in the (national) Personal Records Database (BRP). It's possible that someone died just before the voting passes are sent to eligible voter(at the latest 14 days before the election), but then they are removed from the list of the polling stations 2 weeks later.
If someone has died alone in their home and no one knows about it, it's possible that there is a dead person on the list of the polling station, but how does anyone use that, get their voting pass and ID and vote in their name?
