Oh, so the have taken more people home than taken to jail meant that the police officer has taken offenders to their own home. Okay...I initially thought the officer was taking the offenders to his home.

I suppose that could work depending upon the offense but my guess is if he could take more offenders home versus taking them to jail, based on his age, he probably retired 30 to 40 years ago AND he didn't work in a big city.

I got the impression that Mr. Smith was reminiscing of days gone by, when he was a sheriff deputy. I'm sure that many of the SYD/SYC members, me being one of them, recall a time when life was less "complicated", a time when all you needed to do was to latch your screen door on a hot summer's night before retiring to sleep. You wouldn't think of doing that in 2021 because it's not safe.

Regardless, it's beautiful to see that a 91 year old man has a desire to work and serve his community in whatever capacity. And it's good PR for Camden, Arkansas, too!

That's true, but if the makers want to keep their market share, my guess is that they're going to consider some type of change to stay in the ballgame.

What's interesting is that schools and professional sports teams are changing their names and mascots. Land-O-Lakes butter has removed the Native American from their packaging yet the Jeep Cherokee seems like it's here to stay.
