My dad had it and he's happy about it too. As a matter of fact I haven't heard any negative comments about it.
It's free and I probably won't have to wear glasses anymore… what more could I asked for? I was offered a choice of three lenses, The one that is paid for by the healthcare system, a better one and the best one. I chose the free one because it will be a hell of a lot better than it is now.

I think even before that we had fun and were able to joke and be friends. Sometimes people fight with one another but were able to work past issues or differences. Now those differences have gotten to be too much to the point it’s caused disharmony; and that drives people away.

Exactly, I have all but 3 of my check stubs from work and every damn 1 of them shows a amount that was removed from my pay to go towards social security. It also shows the amount taken out to contribute towards my employer provided retirement I am FINALLY able to enjoy after being on disablity only for 16 years.

My mom was making 128 thousand a year, between my fathers s.s and his pension after he passed away, my father set it up that way where she would receive 100% of his pension and his s.s for the rest of her life. And yes, someone that is married ten years minimum should get a portion of the s.s. Where I work, 70% of my pension can go to my spouse for the rest of her life if I set it up that way. The spouse is also allowed to take the higher of the two s.s. After there other passes away.

You equate the number of homeless people, veteran or not, as a failure of government. Most homeless people are there because of wanting to live a lifestyle that leads to it. Mental health plays a big part of it. Let me throw these numbers out. The Vietnam war lasted 11 years. The Afghanistan war lasted 20 yrs. Homeless veterans did not start appearing on January 20, 2021. Please don't politicize the plight of the homeless, veteran or otherwise as a Democrat or Republican failure. If anything, the blame falls squarely on this plastic society that cares for only five minutes as you see them begging on a corner or outside McDonald's.
