if they are the only income provider of their household.
That makes them most likely part of the 57% of Americans who can't afford a $1000 emergency. Loosing a months wage is more than a $1000 emergency.
It means they will have to borrow money, to pay the bills. That will cost them dearly. And we're only talking about losing one month of pay now. A few more months and lots of people, who get paid by the government, will be in horrible debts, that will take them years to recover from. Many American already have debt up to their ears. They can easily loose their homes.
All because House Republicans don't want to abide by the agreement they made last time and want to push even more of their plans through, and hold people's livelihoods hostage over it.

I order from Amazon religiously, yep, at least once, maybe twice per week! When I was in Florida, there were a couple of times that I didn't pay attention to the address and the delivery was made to my home in Michigan rather than my place in Florida!
So in February, 2022, I purchased 4 16 ounce bottles of body wash/shower gel and I'm in need of more. I wasn't able to find it in the local drug stores so I'm back on Amazon searching. Found it! Woo hoo! 4 bottles and only $20.00 so I add it to my cart along with a couple other items and I'm ready to check out! The sizes and colors ✔️, the address ✔️ I'm already to complete the sale and BOOM!, something is wrong! I review the 5 items in my cart and I notice that there is a $35.69 delivery charge for the 4 16 ounce units of body wash! What in the world! They gotta be out of their ever lovin' minds! Bottom line, I settled on another shower product!
