Mom and dad had a Christmas tree trimming party with the kids and the bigger kids yesterday. Mom has collected ornaments all her life and longer. Each is stored in a compartmented box, some wrapped in tissue paper. You'd think she'd be very cautious with them, keeping them away from the little ones. Just the opposite! She wants them to experience the ornaments. Touch and feel and wonder and hang each on the Christmas tree. And some get broken. Excitement and little hands. The only lesson, to walk a little slower. Yesterday 200 ornaments were placed in the Christmas tree. None were broken!
