I have a pair of binoculars equipped with #14 welding lenses so that I can look directly at the sun.
It's absolutely amazing to see sunspots travel across the surface of the sun. But even with the #14
welding lenses, I've learned not to look too long because my eyes can feel the effect for a day or
two later.
