Buying points from the US

I have tried repeatedly to purchase points through the SegPayEU interface. I was using my Visa Check card and that was declined. This is because my bank automatically declines charges to the UK because of high incidences of fraud. So then I bought a Visa Gift Card and registered it online and it was also declined. WTF?!

I really want to buy points and can not do this! How is anyone in the US buying points?

Figured out a way! I bought a Visa Travel Money card at my local grocery store. This is like a Visa card for traveling on holiday, etc. and is accepted all over the world and online. It is reloadable, too. Worked like a charm!
