What is a kink? This is a question I've asked myself time and again, since I first joined the site. It's also a question I've received quite a number of times, but been left with more questions, than answers.

So... What exactly is a kink?
Daresay, I don't have the slightest clue.

You see, I have never been in a relationship that went far (or long) enough to have sex. This might come off as a surprise, but yes, I have never laid myself bare, or explored things sexually, with a partner.

Where do I begin?

My past relationship from my late adolescent years (late 17~18 ) didn't exactly end on a great note. Not that it started on very good grounds to begin with, when I just had to find myself attracted to someone older than me by 3-4 years, but had similar hobbies and interests.

While it was fun talking about common things we liked or just throwing shade at stuff we didn't 😬, I knew our relationship wasn't going in the right direction when he started putting more importance on having to buy things as an expression of love.

'Why didn't you get me this?'
'You could have just bought this instead of trying to make it.'

... Putting that relationship aside that drained me emotionally, I never really got to experience or explore what a 'kink' was, and what type of 'kinks' I'd be into.

With that said however, I know a thing or two that never fails to catch my interest. The kind that immediately draws my attention and leaves my eyes fixated on them. But I don't really know if it can be considered a kink.

I mean... Is staring at hands remotely, for minutes, something that can be considered a kink? I don't know, but I don't think it's normal to stare a person's hands first before anything else.

It might be strange, but I really like them. Long, slender, slightly calloused, with the finest hints of veins... Even if they're slightly rugged and worn, I find them charming all the same.

... It's pretty embarrassing to just talk about this endlessly, and debate if having a things for nice hands and fingers is a kink, but I'll end off on this note.
