Do you have a strong opinion on any brand of major appliance in your kitchen or laundry room? Do you have a comment on any manufacture's customer service, positive or negative? If you strongly like or dislike any brand, I'd love to hear about it. I sell them for a living and I value customer feedback. I know you all use them!
FYI, Whirlpool owns a lot of brands including Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, Inglis, Jenn-Air, Roper and other lesser known brands. They also make a lot of Kenmore products for Sears, Admiral for Home Depot and Ikea brand for Ikea.

As for your bedroom appliances, that's for another day please.
Thanks!
If you spend two grand on your oven and the electronic board fucks up and you have to replace it you’ll wish you had bought the extended warranty!
Extended warranties are very profitable for a business but like insurance of any kind you don’t really want to use it anyways… Right?
I have always liked LG and sold them was great enthusiasm because they were always innovative. When I sold them I told my customers that I felt that they had hired women in their design department because it is primarily women who use these products. Also, a lot of the innovations that LG put into their appliances were copied by other brands.
While I don't usually recommend LG, I did have LG Washer/Dryers that lasted a decade'ish. Seems most appliances don't last much longer than that anymore.
Had an LG refrigerator. I don't recommend them. Stoves, I don't go cheap on those; all I will say on that. :-)
Kitchen Aid mixer works great but don’t leave the head tilted up for long periods. On some, the gearbox will leak oil.
I have a 1980ish GE dryer. Squeaked badly, back bearing was bad, of course. I put $35 parts and an evening of my time into it. Hell if I get another two yearsut of it, that’s fine by me.
I usually stick to higher end appliances, they last longer. Maytag, Bosch, etc. i could do without the bells and whistles, though.
Why can’t I find a dehumidifier that lasts more than three to five years? They ALL suck.
I've got an LG front load washer and dryer, worked well for 11 years, had to replace water level sensor on washer, but that was after a move, so maybe travel sickness? Have a Samsung gas range and Fridge, 5 yrs. still ok.
Just trashed a 12 yo Whirlpool dishwasher, seal failed and blew the pump bearing. I could have replaced the pump but wife wants a Stainless unit to fit the new kitchen.
So my question is, which new dishwasher would be a good choice? Needs to be midrange price with a SS tub. Only gets run once a week.
thanks, Bud! Wish I could buy it from you.
Super quiet machine, racking system takes some experimentation to get use to the layout.
So far satisfied with the unit.
Thanks for your advice, pal.
Expensive, but best quality.
I don't sell them where I work now but I used to and I sold them with great enthusiasm.
